Show 61 - They got little cars
In this weeks show, Phil & Paul continue with their series 4 retrospective with a look back The Sontaran Stratagem. They both try really hard this week to be positive and for the most part they succeed. However, with a snivelling wretch of a boy genius the Doctors new found dislike for U.N.I.T., it doesn't take them long to start getting a little bit picky. But in this weeks news, the announcement that episode 1 of series 7 will be premiered in August and Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have completed their final scenes give the two of them plenty to discuss and go off topic about. Please be warned that during the course of this weeks episode, the words "twunt" and "bukakke" are used with wanton abandon.

Show 60 - Red is the colour of my hell
Paul is back from his holidays feeling refreshed and gets straight back into the swing of things and joins Phil to look at Planet of The Ood. Phil finds this one a bit of a slog to review but livens things up for himself by doing a Sid James impression, while Paul concentrates on the plot and the social messages that this episode was trying to convey. Also as a special treat, Tony joins Phil & Paul for the news section which was recorded in the pub while celebrating Paul's birthday. However, Tony being Tony, he gets easily distracted and goes hunting for alien lifeforms in a bowl of wasabi peanuts and Phil gets in another impression, this time the Kinder egg advert from 1980's. Me scrooble now! |

Show 59 - Don't let your lava love turn to stone
Whilst Paul is on his holidays, Phil enlists the help of new friend to the show Stephen Prescott from the rather excellent A Madman With A Box Podcast to discuss The Fires of Pompeii. During the discussion, Stephen educates Phil on Latin textbooks and they both go wildly off tangent and delve into the merits of RTD versus The Moff and whether longstanding fans requests for classic monsters such as Ice Warriors and Zygons to return to the show would a be good thing. Also, in a very short news section, John Barrowman wants Captain Jack to return to Doctor Who, more Daleks and an actress who once appeared in Doctor Who nearly 50 years ago reaches the grand age of 100. And because of that, we are claiming her as our own first Doctor Who centenarian. Join us!!

Show 58 - She was such a naughty nanny
Once again the reviewing duo of Phil & Paul embark on another retrospective and this time they turn their attentions to Series 4 and Partners in Crime. What do they make of it after all this time? Is it a great series opener or do they think it's a stinker of an episode? Well, you might be surprised when you listen to this! Also, in this weeks news a Big Finish sale, Steven Moffats opinions on the Doctors travelling arrangements and Phil & Paul get wistful when talking about the BBC Television Centre.

Show 57 - Now you talk about your childhood wishes
It's that time of the month again when the Who's He? team turn their attentions towards another audio commentary and this month it's Day Of The Daleks. Once again Phil and Paul are joined by Tony for his monthly turn behind the microphone and as usual he lets loose with his little known "facts" on what really went on with the actors and behind the scenes stories that made up the production of this classic Doctor Who story. However, Tony took it upon himself to go through puberty again during the recording of this episode, which Phil and Paul constantly remind him of. Also during the course of recording, Phil gets misty eyed at the sight of a young Katy Manning and they also introduce what has to be the shortest news section in the history of this podcast. |

Show 56 - Landed on the top of his dome
This is it folks, the end of our 2009 specials retrospective with a look back at The End Of Time Part 2. And this week, Phil and Paul are once again joined by the excellent Martyn Havell from the Badwilf Podcast. They remain upbeat throughout this episode and talk about all the good things that this story......I'm sorry, that's a lie, they didn't like it then and they don't like it now. No surprises there then! Well, they do find a couple of nice things to say which usually involves Bernard Cribbins. Also in a very slow news week, Phil manages to drive away every listener the podcast has and Paul delivers the truth on what the Doctors voting habits are and how he is half the racist that Postman Pat is. Yes, it's a shocking tabloid style expose that doesn't include the words "romp" or "sordid".

Show 55 - Would you stick around for more?
After the highs of last weeks official convention, we hit the lows with The End of Time Part 1 in the continuation of the 2009 Specials retrospective. Unfortunately this episode contains nothing but Paul and Phil voicing their disappointment and frustration at this very woeful episode of Doctor Who but do find time to extol the virtues of having Bernard Cribbins to liven things up. They also go off topic and discuss how the Master has been portrayed over the years and in this weeks news, more series 7 production snippets, the bad smell that is David Yates and the Doctor Who movie and Daleks. Lots of Daleks. All this plus Paul takes over the show as Phil has been moonlighting rather a lot. |
Show 54 - So satisfied I'm on my way
Live from Cardiff, it's the Who's He? Podcast's coverage of the official Doctor Who Convention!! Well, ok, it's not live but in Cardiff they were and Phil & Paul attempt to give you a flavour of what it was like to be at the BBC's first stab at a convention since the 1980's. Was it any good? Did they have a good time? Was it worth the £99 ticket price? All these questions are answered in this weeks episode but not only that, Phil & Paul both realise a childhood dream. And there's also this weeks important news of the announcement of the Doctors new companion, when we can say goodbye to Amy and Rory and some old foes of the Doctor make a return in Series 7. |
Show 53 - Who knows what tomorrow may bring?
In a change to the advertised programme, Phil & Paul are joined by the fantastic Martyn Havell from the Badwilf Podcast to have a bit of chat about the official Doctor Who Convention next weekend. They talk about what they are expecting from from next weekends shindig, what they are looking forward to the most and also let slip their evil nefarious plans to rip off the general public and separate them from their cash, to also con money out of the stars and crew of Doctor Who and also asking where they can find a stuffed porpoise. Oh, and Phil tries to explain this weeks series 7 production news without giving away spoilers in the most arduous and long winded way possible.

Show 52 - Going over to Susan's house
It's the Who's He? Podcast's first birthday!! And what better way to celebrate than having Phil, Paul and Tony doing an audio commentary on the very first Doctor Who serial, An Unearthly Child. However, Phil let's the occasion get the better of him to begin with and messes up the news which this week includes, a Doctor Who concert, more series 7 production news and the sad news of another actor connected to Doctor Who passing away. And after a slow start with the commentary, they get into their stride and Tony gives inside information on William Hartnell's on set demands (which could be complete lies) and all three of them do caveman impressions. |
Show 51 - Making love with his ego
This week Phil and Paul travel back in time and give their opinions on the next 2009 special, The Waters of Mars. Do they think it still stands up as the classic that it is purported to be or is it another clunker following on from the Planet of The Dead? All I will say is that for once, they both agree! Admittedly this could make for a very dull podcast. Also, the news this week sheds light on how the production of series 7 is coming along, the casting rumour mill and the sad news of the passing of another Who actor. |
Show 50 - The first thing I met, was a fly with a buzz
The reviewing duo of of Phil and Paul press on with the next phase of their retrospective with a look at the first of the 2009 specials, Planet of The Dead. This is a most divisive podcast and Paul rather enjoys it and Phil detests it but all this makes Phil wax lyrical about the rich tapestry of the human race but veers dangerously close to one those awful episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation where Data explores what it's like to be human. And in the news this week, series 7 casting news, the end of the Adventure Games and Doctor Who tat. |
Show 49 - Love in that stranger still feeling that danger
Right, they're doing Time And The Rani this time. Ok? They're sorry, really sorry. The boys really suffer during this one, finding not much to be happy about but manage to keep their sanity by comparing the story's characters to long forgotten 80's pop groups, Rainbow and reminiscing about chocolate bars from yesteryear. And in the news this week, more guests for confirmed for the Doctor Who Convention in March, series 7 production news and fan slash fiction has become legit. All this, plus Bonnie Langford screaming.
Show 48 - The man who kicks the present aside
Tis the season to be jolly!! Well, not really to be honest but there is a bit of snow on the ground, so it's a good time for Paul and Phil to have a look back at A Christmas Carol, the 2010 Christmas special. Fortunately after over a year, they both still really enjoy this festive offering and Phil tries to make connections to M.R. James Christmas ghost stories and The Eagle comic while Paul insists that they try their hardest not to pick holes in the story. Meanwhile in the news, writers and directors are confirmed for Series 7, guest news for the Doctor Who Convention, some Doctor Who tat and Phil plugs other podcasts. |
Show 47 - Will you call my name?
After starting this months ago, Phil and Paul finally reach the end of their journey with a look at The Big Bang, the finale of Series 5. Paul and Phil can't help themselves and start to pick holes in the plot and characters but don't worry folks, they really do love this episode and both agree that this is probably the best series finale ever. Or EVAH as the youth of today like to spell it. And in this weeks news, Doctor Who tat and a fake Matt Smith proposes to his girlfriend. Who wasn't a fake, she's real. |
Show 46 - When you fail the test of time
In their never ending quest to get through series 5, Phil and Paul look back at the penultimate episode of this series, The Pandorica Opens. Will they still enjoy this barnstorming episode or has time taken it's toll on these two jaded podcasters? Also, in this weeks news, Matt Smith & Karen Gillan triumph at the National Television Awards, toy and DVD news and the latest update to the Official Doctor Who Convention that has got Phil and Paul (and a few others besides) a little perplexed. Just don't send them your milk bottle tops. |
Show 45 - With one hundred tin soldiers
It's audio commentary time again! This week, the lads bring part you the second part of their commentary for The Invasion Parts 5 to 8. This time, they run out steam as Tony was all facted out and Phil resorts to making sexist remarks about women of the sixties (and tries to justify it) whilst Paul keeps a dignified silence. Tony also does something that makes Phil swear which results in the use of a 'beep', the first in the history of this podcast.
Show 44 - Sit down on my stool
It's audio commentary time folks!! This month the commentary trio of Phil, Paul and Tony tackle the 2nd Doctor story, The Invasion Parts 1 to 4. During this audio romp through this classic Patrick Troughton story, the lads discuss such weighty topics as Tobias Vaughn's unhealthy obsession with watching his henchmen on the toilet, Sparky The Magic Piano, action figures of the Queen and Tony's disappointment at animated skirts blowing in the wind. All this plus Doctor Who news from the last week where we also discover Tony's seedy private life. |
Show 43 - Rising damp, it's gonna get us all
After last weeks show, the lads are back in their comfort zone with their continuation of their series 5 retrospective and this week it's the turn of The Lodger. However, not all went according to plan, as they were beset by technical problems, which made each other think their connection had dropped which lead to a bit of confusion. But once things got back on track, they rattled though but couldn't help but keep making constant comparisons to Closing Time (well, Phil did anyway) and why discovering Matt Smiths comedic talents in this story was a slippery slope for the programme makers.

The Who's He? Podcast Awards 2011
In a change from the usual programme, the Who's He? team bring you the Who's He? Podcast Awards 2011, celebrating the best and the worst that Doctor Who and Torchwood had to offer over the last year in a star studded show from the Norwich Theatre Royal (though this may be a lie). The lads apologise in advance for the tongue in cheek approach but unfortunately there are no refunds as they need the money to get out of the country.
Show 42 - Voices singing lets be jolly
Stuffed full of turkey and Christmas cheer (that means booze), Phil & Paul let rip on this years Doctor Who Christmas special, The Doctor, The Widow and The Wardrobe. Did they like what they saw or were they not that struck on this years festive offering? As well giving their opinion on the special, they go wildly off tangent and start discussing Doctor Who Confidential (again!) and also announce the next podcast from the Who's He? team. All this plus the latest news that's now over a week out of date. So that would make it all the latest olds then. |
Show 41 - The ragged men in the ragged clothes
In their last podcast before Christmas, the Who's He? team delve back into series 5 with a look at Vincent And The Doctor. During their discussion of this episode, Phil and Paul ask should Richard Curtis come back and write again for Doctor Who and they also rename the Space Chicken to Space Turkey in light of the festive season. They also give sound advice on what to do with the carcass of a dead giant Space Turkey that can feed an entire village for months. Also, in the news this week, the Ponds are leaving Doctor Who, no two part stories in series 7, more movie rumblings and the first classic Who DVD releases of 2012. And not forgetting a very merry Christmas to all our listeners! |
Show 40 - This time you've gone too far
This week, Paul and Phil take a look back at Cold Blood in the continuation of their retrospective of series 5. However, they are little distracted this week as shortly before they started recording, official confirmation came through from the BBC that two long lost episodes of Doctor Who had been rediscovered. And what with the announcement this week of a Doctor Who game for consoles and the PC, Phil was on cloud nine. Pity then that they had to talk about a bit of a damp squib of a Who story afterwards. It ruined the mood somewhat. |
Show 39 - Don't dig there, dig it elsewhere
After two weeks of audio commentary, Phil & Paul return to reviewing duties with a look back at The Hungry Earth. However, neither of them can work up much enthusiasm for this story as not a lot really happens apart from some gaping holes in logic. So the result is an underwhelming and rather dull podcast. Sorry folks.
But during this weeks news items, Phil makes his own entertainment by convincing Paul that he's always wanted to keep fish in a Doctor Who themed aquarium.
We also have to apologise for the sound quality in the news section as Phil had his microphone on the wrong setting. The berk. |
Show 38 - Everybody have fun tonight
Yes, it's the second part of the Who's He? audio commentary for The Talons of Weng-Chiang, episodes 4 to 6. And in this part, comparisons are made between Weng-Chiang and everyones favourite squid from Futurama and Tony sheds new light on Weng-Chiangs successful recording career post Talons, though Tony had trouble with his vowels. And in the news, the final total on the auction of Matt Smiths Doctor Who costume for Children in Need and the continuing saga of the planned Doctor Who movie. Also, Phil and Paul try to justify why they are going to next years Doctor Who convention when most Who podcasters are staying away. |
Show 37 - So many years ago hero's ruled the world
It's that time of the month! The Who's He? 3 are back with an audio commentary for The Talons of Weng-Chiang, episodes 1 to 3. And as last month, Tony gets really excited with his facts but this time runs out of steam after episode 1. As Phil and Paul try desperately to calm him down, they valiantly try to continue with their own version of events. They also go through the news this week that a Doctor Who film is in the offing and also announce that the Who's He? Podcast will be attending the official convention next year and talk about the trailer for the Christmas special. And Tony gets to to hear Let's Save Confidential by No Touch Pod which fair takes his breath away.

Show 36 - It felt like the world would freeze
The lads continue to plough on with the series 5 retrospective with one of their favourite stories from that series, Amy's Choice. Try as they might, they both felt that were struggling with this one, as they both agree that it is still one of the best episodes of series 5 but there was nothing to moan about! And an episode of Who's He? just isn't the same without someone whinging about something. Oh, I forgot, they whinged about one of this weeks news items, which is the announcement of an official BBC Doctor Who convention next year which is going to cost the punters £99 per ticket! Still, aside from that, they'll see you there! |
Show 35 - Son, you'll never need to smell the black canal
In this weeks episode, the retrospective of series 5 continues with The Vampires of Venice. While neither Phil nor Paul were particularly looking forward to re-watching this episode, they were both surprised at how much they actually enjoyed it. However, things wouldn't be the same if they didn't pick holes in something and this week it's perception filters! Also in a slow news week, the Who's He? news desk brings you Doctor Who Christmas decorations and news of the The Gunpowder Plot adventure game that Paul couldn't care less about. Things also go off tangent as usual by the end of the show and Phil admits to knowing a man in a rubber suit. |
Show 34 - I know you from a previous incarnation
This week, a sleep deprived Paul and a chipper Phil continue their look back at series 5 with Flesh and Stone. Here they discuss whether this story proves that not all two part stories have weak second parts and whether Amy throwing herself at the Doctor does or does not seem out of place in what is essentially a childrens programme. And with the announcement that a clip of this years Christmas special will be on this years Children in Need, Phil wonders why we have to sit through hours of dancing newsreaders to see a couple of minutes of Who? Let's get this straight though, Children in Need is worthy cause. Phil just doesn't like dancing newsreaders. |
Show 33 - I see her face and run to take her hand
Now that there is no more new Doctor Who, the lads go back to their series 5 retrospective with The Time of Angels. Nothing can be found wrong with this story, as both Phil and Paul enjoyed revisiting this episode and both wax lyrical as to how great it is. Shame about the news section though. In another slow news week, they start off well with the Matt Smith leaving rumours and then end up shamelessly padding things out by talking about Jon Pertwee whilst on a trip down Doctor Who memory lane. All together now, Memories...like the corners of my mind...... |
Show 32 - Brush shoulders with the stars
After a long break it's audio commentary time and that means Tony is back to join Phil & Paul to have a good look at The Five Doctors. This time, Tony was set a challenge to come up with fascinating facts about this story and we'll let you decide whether he rose to the challenge or not. Also during this episode, the lads compare the coffee shop style of the Gallifrey High Council Chambers with the Club Tropicana look of the Tardis, the changes in depth of vision on Gallifrey and in a news section that is struggling for content, Drashig glove puppets and the merits of The Good Life underpants! |
Show 31 - We're going to stick up the past
In a long edition of Who's He?, Phil & Paul take a look back and see what they enjoyed and disliked about series 6 of Doctor Who. There's not many laughs to be had as the two of them take this rather seriously and go through the story arc of River Song as they see it and all the standalone episodes one by one. This was made especially difficult for Paul who has....the lurgi!! Yes, this show is unclean and riddled with germs but Paul managed to hold it together and not cough his lungs up and croak it live on air. Though that would have been a podcast first. |
Show 30 - They go together like a horse and carriage
This week the the Who's He? team cast their eye over the series finale, The Wedding of River Song. Amongst all the spectacle, do we finally get answers to all the questions raised this series? All this is this discussed in a rather serious edition of the show along with the sad news of the demise of Doctor Who Confidential this week.

Show 29 - Hats, underwear & shoes...Going up!
On this edition of Who's He?, the reviewing duo take a look at the penultimate episode of series 6, Closing Time. Unfortunately, after a run of cracking episodes, it comes to a halt with this episode which Paul and Phil are very disappointed with. During their discussion about the episode and this weeks news, they talk about pithy subjects such as the press's obsession with Doctor Who's viewing figures and cyber suits for the larger gentleman. However, they are both looking forward to the series finale, which Phil forgets the name of. |
Show 28 - Too much, too little, too late
This is it folks, the last episode of Torchwood: Miracle Day for Phil and Paul to get their teeth into. And I am sorry to say that while Paul has enjoyed this series, Phil is his usual miserable self when it comes to Torchwood. While Paul has gone through this series with a spring in his step and a laugh in his voice, Phil has gone through this series with lead in his boots and anger in his soul. However, he does cheer up as this is the last in the series and won't have to watch it again. Ever. So he's put the bunting out and had a little drink to celebrate. And Paul has the DVD on pre-order to enjoy it all again. |
Show 27 - I can't dream well because of my horn
In the first of two podcasts this week, Paul & Phil ramble on about this weeks episode of Doctor Who, The God Complex. Do they think that this episode continues the recent trend of great episodes? Well they try first with the power of thought and then fall back on the tried and tested method of speech as the their levels of extra sensory perception are...well...rubbish really. They eventually get their acts together and deliver a polished episode worthy of a TV Choice award. And if you believe that, you'll believe anything. |
Show 26 - Make each hour bright and bring your gladness
In the second of this weeks podcasts, Phil & Paul cast their eye over episode 9 of Torchwood Miracle Day. Will Phil ever really enjoy this series or is he destined to spend the remainder of his days a bitter and twisted individual planning ways to get the hours back that he spent watching this series? Will Paul ever lose his composure or will he remain calm, collected and continue to enjoy this series of Torchwood no matter what it's faults may be? Tune in to this episode of Who's He? to find out! |
Show 25 - Two little love birds, cuckoo to you
In the first of two podcasts this week, the lads cast their eye over Night Terrors and The Girl Who Waited. What will they think of these two standalone episodes? Well, quite a bit actually! For once, they can both agree that despite the mixed response these two episodes have received, these are great episodes of Doctor Who! Stand by for Phil waxing lyrical about Murray Golds score and Paul not regretting his rushed viewing after getting back from holiday. A happy time is had by all but don't worry! They will be back to their normal miserable selves in the next show, out tomorrow! |
Show 24 - The man is dead, the man is dead
In their second podcast of the week, Who's He? take a look at episode 8 of Torchwood Miracle Day. Phil feels slightly disappointed at this weeks episode, while Paul just enjoys it, the happy go lucky chap that he is. All this plus Doctor Who and Torchwood news and the pair of them stick up for Steven Moffat over some rather unsavoury tweets sent in his direction and completely off topic, Phil uses this podcast as a platform to vent his fury at George Lucas for mucking around with Star Wars again! And don't forget to donate to Walk for Lis! |
Show 23 - Himmler had something similar
Doctor Who is back! And Paul & Phil give the waiting world their thoughts on Let's Kill Hitler! And guess what? They both enjoyed it! However, enjoying Doctor Who comes with a price as Phil has to eat his hat and two slices of humble pie as his previous predictions on River Song couldn't be further from the truth and he gets an episode title wrong. So really, he did the whole podcast speaking with his mouth full. Naughty boy! |
Show 22 - Mother Mary comes to me
In a shorter than usual Who's He?, Paul & Phil give you their ramblings on episode 7 of Torchwood Miracle Day. This week, they were both aware that they had to be more professional after last weeks rather shoddy approach. So, they bring you Doctor Who news in black tie and evening dress and the Torchwood review from a gentlemen's club in Mayfair. Over a game of Backgammon and large cognac, they discuss the complete silence from the tabloids today after Jack & Angelo got jiggy last night and they both manage to hide their excitement that Doctor Who is back on the telly tomorrow! Hoorah!
Show 21 - Can't watch your wife and your outside women too
In this weeks episode, Phil and Paul take a look at episode 6 of Torchwood Miracle Day. And Phil would like to apologise right now. The news section is rather shoddy and rushed because Phil was too distracted and boy does it show!! However, they both get stuck into the review and despite the pair of them thinking it would be a short review, the pair find plenty to talk about and Phil gets wound up at poor plotting, whilst Paul defends this weeks episode. Saying that, they both enjoyed the episode which Phil keeps stating to convince everyone, including himself.

Show 20 - Fire, to end all you've become
A stunned and mostly silent Paul and Phil are back with their views on Torchwood Miracle Day episode 5. The reason they are stunned and silent (well to begin with) is that they both enjoyed this episode. Who'd have thought it possible! However, whilst discussing how Oswald Danes character is fitting into the story, it gives Phil a chance to rant against the cult of celebrity, Paul a chance to come up with a tagline for the podcast. Oh and Paul forgets how to talk and Phil comes up with a solution to his predicament.

Show 19 - Motel Money Murder Madness
After what seemed like a long absence, the reviewing duo of Phil and Paul are back with their views on episode 4 of Torchwood Miracle Day. Did they continue the trend of liking what they saw or follow a few UK viewers in almost giving up on watching? Did they mind some perceived plot holes or just get caught up in the all fun? All this plus the latest news from the world of Who and Torchwood and Phil's plan to use Tony as some kind of duelling glove. |
Show 18 - You'll be down on your knees
In a rather argumentative episode, Paul & Phil give their opinions on episode 3 of Torchwood Miracle Day. Will Phil be happier than he was last week or is it Paul's turn to turn to the dark side? Does the world care? Anyway, they ramble on as normal and Phil makes a rather crass comment about him not having his teeth in. If a podcast could blush, it would be this one. |
Show 17 - I'm walking backwards for Christmas
Another belated Torchwood review! This episode Phil & Paul take a look at episode 2 of Torchwood Miracle Day and they are not best pleased. While Paul delivers his opinion with his usual level headed and measured approach, Phil let's his temper get the better of him as he vents his anger at what he believes to be an absolute stinker of an episode. They both agree that not much happened in Torchwoods latest instalment and also thumb their noses at a rather shoddy special effect. |
Show 16 - If you want to hang out, you've got to take her out...
It's audio commentary time! And this month, Phil & Paul show Tony the delights of Attack of The Cybermen. Yes, last month they promised him a glimpse of the future, Doctor Who style and they bring him 1985! However, Tony was fairly impressed with Peri's cleavage, camp sarcastic Cybermen and the Cryons drugs factory. As usual, Phil set Tony one or two tasks during the course of the evening and Tony also had the temerity to ask why there are no gold Cybermen. The fool!!
Show 15 - In the game of life, everything is possible
After thinking that they would never get this done, the reviewing duo of Paul and Phil finally get round to airing their views on episode 1 of Torchwood: Miracle Day. Were they disappointed? Did it live up to Children of Earth? Did it have the cleaning power of bleach? All these questions are answered inside this weeks episode of Who's He? |
Show 14 - He used to be a British flag
In this episode, while the rest of the world is debating Torchwood, Paul & Phil carry on with their retrospective of Series 5 with a look back at Victory of the Daleks. Why they put themselves through this we'll never know but as Paul takes a more tempered view of the story, Phil gets quite angry at deus ex machina endings, historical inaccuracies and getting his beloved Spitfire wrong. All this plus Torchwood and Doctor Who news. |
Show 13 - And by night rants and raves at the stars
This week, the reviewing duo of Paul and Phil continue with their retrospective of Series 5 by taking a look back at The Beast Below and find themselves both surprised about how little they can find wrong with a so-so story. However, the pair of them are even more surprised when Paul thinks his connection has dropped out mid chat and Phil discloses what childhood nightmares scared him at the seaside. All this plus a piece of news with a very tenuous link to Doctor Who. |
Show 12 - I saw you in the Crown Court
After quite a few false starts, the Who's He? trio managed to get their act together and bring you an audio commentary for the third Doctor story, The Time Warrior. Marvel as Phil & Paul set Tony a little quiz throughout the story and shake your heads in disappointment as they shamelessly plug breweries in the vain hope they will be sent a few crates of beer. All this, plus Tony devises a system in order to remember actors names. |
Show 11 - ...matters to you and me, but it can't touch Sherlock Holmes
As we are in mid series lull, the reviewing duo of Phil and Paul decide to travel back in time and have a retrospective of Series 5, starting with Matt Smiths first episode,The Eleventh Hour. They decide whether this is the finest post regeneration story ever and what they were feeling when this episode first aired (mainly trepidation and excitement if you can't wait).
They also discuss the weeks main news stories, which are a distinct lack of Torchwood news in the UK and the next round of fretting over Series 7, where there was panic on the streets of Twitter. |

Show 10 - Private eyes, they're watching you
This week, the reviewing duo of Phil and Paul try to give the listeners a mid series review of series 6.1 without going over old ground. Go on, you try it if you think it's easy! Anyway, they deliberate over the general tone of the series so far and tell an excited public what their favourite and least favourite episodes have been. It's also a rather busy week for Who news, some good and some sad which gives Phil an opportunity to vent his anger on sloppy journalism. Again.

Show 9 - In my daughters eyes I can see the future
Well folks, it's here at last, the mid series finale A Good Man Goes to War and this week, Phil and Paul find that their roles are reversed with Phil liking the episode and Paul not so keen. However, they both discuss whether this was the massive cliffhanger we were all promised or was is it a bit of a damp squib and are left to ponder what will happen in the Autumn? Oh and the pair of them lied about the mid series review promised last week. That's not till next week, the lazy good for nothing swines! |

Show 8 - And they sent us along as a surrogate band
In the second of this weeks podcasts, the reviewing duo of Paul and Phil air their views on the latest episode The Almost People. However, all is not well in the Who's He? camp as the pair have rather differing views on this episode and run the gamut of emotions such as joy, disappointment, elation, anger, happiness, resentment and er...anger again. But they're both friends again at the end. Honest. |

Show 7 - You've been in the pipeline filling in time
In the first of this weeks podcasts, Tony returns to the fold and enjoys the wonders of the William Hartnell story The War Machines. The trio soak up the ambience of swinging London and fab gear, stuffy professors and government ministers (the squares!) and go Mike "Runaround" Read spotting. Phil also sets Tony a challenge to finally reveal what happened to Dodo Chaplet after her break in the country. But never forget, Doctor Who is required!! |

Show 6 - You've got a perfect skin
This week the Who's He? reviewing duo take a look at the latest episode The Rebel Flesh. Both Paul and Phil are not overly critical of this weeks story and the general view is that Matthew Graham has redeemed himself for Fear Her. However, being the picky swines that they are, they still manage to talk about Roger Moore designed acid suits and ropey CGI.
They also discuss whether Dr. Who is or ever was too scary for children and go off topic more than once whilst losing themselves in childhood memories. |

Show 5 - Mr. Sheen leaves umpteen things clean!
After last weeks disappointing episode, the chaps at Who's He? had high hopes for the much anticipated Neil Gaiman story The Doctor's Wife. Well, neither Paul nor Phil were disappointed but did they think it was the story to change the face of Who as we know it or did they not get caught up in the hype?
Also, the other topic of discussion is Steven Moffat who had a bit of a rant this week at fans who post spoilers and the reaction of the fans on the forums, which nearly leads Paul into giving away his dark secrets of the internet! |

Show 4 - Tales of Brave Ulysses
Doctor Who and pirates, what's not to like eh? Well, not a lot according to Phil and Paul, who are less than thrilled with this weeks story as both of them turn into an overly critical Who fans, the one thing that Phil particularly dislikes and also manages to fit in two hearty aharr's for good measure. Good job Tony couldn't be with them again!
They also take a look at the British press and their obsession with Doctor Who's recent viewing figures. |

Show 3 - Reducing the silence
Just for a change, a Tony-less Who's He? team review the quite brilliant opening 2 episodes of series 6, The Impossible Astronaut and The Day of The Moon and also pay tribute to Elisabeth Sladen who sadly passed away after the recording of our 2nd show.
Not only that but Phil takes issue with fans who make up theories about character developments whilst ignoring all the facts and Paul struggles with a football injury! |
Show 2 - What are we going to do now?
A complete disaster this month, as we were completely caught off guard by technical faults and had to substitute our planned commentary with the Matt Smith story The Lodger. So, sit on the edge of your seat and be prepared for 45 minutes of unplanned silence. We can only offer our sincere apologies and you can collect a full refund at the door. |

Show 1 - Pyramids of Mars
In this, the first episode of Who's He?, the intrepid three show the podcasting community how not to conduct a podcast as the nerves come shining through as we dip our toes into the world of podcasting with the Tom Baker classic, Pyramids of Mars. Thrill as Phil commits a cardinal sin and misremembers Who!! Gasp as Tony forgets the "no filth" rule and feint with shock as Paul cheats and looks up facts in a book!! All interspersed with long periods of silence. |
